oak be gone

i have way too much oak in my house; bathroom cupboards, kitchen and banister. by golly it is time to get rid of it all. well, at least give it a much needed make-over.

my first project: the kids bathroom. i sure am glad i started with the small bathroom to work out all the kinks. it consists of one door and two drawers. i was told it was a 3 hour project. no problem. alas, 5 days later (i'll spare you the details)...

next challenge: the banisters.

so...you say that you spent forever doing these...did you forget to use your magic wand? I know ella or brynn have one somewhere...then you say those magic words, "oak be gone" and poof...magic. It's done in an instant. Sorry I didn't tell you that secret before you started this whole project. For doing it by yourself w/o magic...looks fabulous dahling.
