ahh Zion

i love this place. i have been going here every year since i was born. there is a peaceful feeling here. i love hearing the rush of the river and the trees rustling in the breeze. even though it was 100 +, we spent most of our days in the river or in the pool. we took a ride down the river in some tubes. i had B, she was a little nervous and would try and climb off me while we were going down some ferocious rapids. luckily, half hour into it she fell asleep. it was extremely relaxing after that.

we hit the parade the morning of the 4th. i'm glad we got there on time, if we had been three minutes late we would have missed the whole thing! the kids enjoyed mounds of candy, and i enjoyed two very hyper-active little ones!

we also took a hike up to temple of sinawa, and hiked a mile up the narrows; stopped for a bit and enjoyed the cool water. J had the backpack with E in it. i had the bjourn with B in it (she's a little big for that thing) and a camel back. B was facing forward and would lean over so far trying to touch the water. i think we must've looked a little strange, we got alot of funny looks and laughs.

i love watching my kids play in the river, throwing rocks and catching polliwogs, getting muddy and watching the ants crawling around the dirt. ahh zion, i love you. until next year...
