B is for Brynn

Alright, I have finally finished another project. It really does take me way too long to do these things. If I could just find 2 solid hours with no interuptions, I would really get ALOT done!

Needless to say, I was able to finish this one. I hung it in Brynn's room (obviously). It is nice to get something done. One more check on my humongous (sp?) list of projects I want to do!

Supplies:
12" unfinished wood letter
paint color of your choice
2-3 coordinating cardstock papers
dark walnut stain
modge podge
your choice of accessories

1. Paint the back side of letter only with your choice of paint color. (This color will only show slightly on the sides of the letter that are not covered with paper. It just gives it a more finished look.)

2. Trace sections of the letter onto paper of your choice. Modge Podge sections onto letter and smooth out with a credit card or ruler.

3. Sand edges of paper until it is flush with the wood. Once it is all smooth, apply small amount of dark stain. You can later go over the stain with a damp cloth and wipe off stain until you get desired look.

4. Apply ribbon, flowers, or any accessory to your letter. I used these flowers and hot glued some of the petals onto the letter and also applied a small amount of stain to the edges of the petals.

Very cute! Good for you! I know, these girls sure slow us down don't they. I am glad to know that there is someone else out there with a never ending project list around the house. My husband had almost convinced me that I was crazy with all of my projects. Thanks for the hope that there is at least one other person out there just as crazy as me!

You are amazing!!! I know the feeling of not getting anything done. I tried one day writing every minute down so I could figure out why I seem unable to accomplish anything...you are right, just lots of interruptions! They'll only be little once though, right? :)
