My two younger sisters are having babies and I couldn't be more excited!! They are both due in April, so naturally me, my older sis and mom are giving them a baby shower. I was put in charge of the invitations. Easy enough right...WRONG, oh so wrong!
To start off these SHOULD have been mailed out Wednesday and I did have good intentions. I started playing around with my CorelDraw (which is similar to Adobe, another free download for 15 days). I made some really cute ones. Then I printed one and thought what in the world am I thinking. First, my printer is almost out of ink, so there was just no way I could print 20 of these. And secondly, they really weren't THAT cute once printed.
Okay, plan B. Target usually has really cute ones right?? So we (me, ella, brynn) all loaded in the car for a trip to Target. There were cute ones, but just not up to my expectations. So, we come out of Target, with no invites mind you, but with $70 worth of goods, that will all be returned at a later date. (At least that's what I told Joe.)
That night, (Wednesday) what do you know I can't sleep, because my mind is busy designing baby shower invitations. I'm so excited, I have a vision and am ready to get to work!
Last night, (Thursday) I sit down to create my masterpiece at 6:30pm. I am still sitting at 12:15am, and decide enough is enough. I am about 65% done with these nightmarish invitations. And what do you know, I put the wrong freaking date on them....aahhhhhh!!! FYI for those who will be receiving invites, it is on the 15th NOT the 5th!
Anywho, they are FINALLY done and next time I won't come up with any brilliant ideas, I'll just have to settle for the Target ones!!

but they look oh so cute and target couldn't top that! I'm sorry it was a nightmare...so the real question, are you really going to return stuff? I tell that to johnny sometimes too.
ps I'm super bummed but I'm going to be out of town on the 15th. boo.

Oh Cristelle...I'm sorry to be the cause of stress in your life! But seriously those are the cutest invitations I have ever seen and I'm honored..Plus I just woke Eric up because I was laughing so loud about the date mix-up ha ha ha.
