I know it's a day late, but wanted to wish everyone a very happy valentines day!
Ella, Brynn and I made some yummy heart shaped sugar cookies. We iced them, well I iced them, Ella ate the icing!
My dad stopped by in the morning to deliver some valentines for the kids. He used to lay out hearts on the table for us for valentines day, I like to do that for my kids now too! I love how excited Ella gets for things, even though she doesn't know why. She sees the hearts on the table and her eyes get really big "Wow mom, look at this!"
We drove all around town delivering all our valentines. It was a fun day, except the accident Ella had. I sat her on the potty for 5 minutes and she wouldn't go, finally I took her off, knowing full well she was going to have an accident within the next 2 minutes and sure enough she did...potty training is NOT fun. She tells me sometimes "No more potty train." I must say though it sure has been nice not having to change 2 kids diapers all day long. I feel like I have an extra 1/2 hour a day!!!
Joe surprised me with some beautiful red roses and a card (the exact same card he gave me last year)! I remember things like that, he doesn't!!

that's funny about the card. I guess he really liked it! I love that you made cookies. My cookie dough is still sitting in the fridge. Maybe one day we'll finally bake them.
That's funny about the card. I think a few years ago clayton bought a 12 pack of the same card because I received the same card for about 3 years for every special occasion.
That is funny about the card- guys are so funny. We did cookies too- it is so fun to have little traditions like that!!
I like your new header with the little saying!! I have such good memories of our cupid dad :) Aren't holidays so fun with little kids?!
