What a beautiful day in the canyon. It was the PERFECT weather! Krista and I headed up with the kids to have a picnic and see the wild flowers. Unfortunately most of the flowers were gone, but it was still gorgeous. On the way up we were told they had spotted a bear the day earlier. YIKES!! But we braved it anyway and all came back safe!! 
We had a nice picnic. Brynn thought she wanted Sisi's PB sandwich and grabbed that thing so fast out of her hand and stuck the whole thing in her mouth. It was quite difficult to pry it out of her hands! She also enjoyed a little dirt and a few small rocks, ya know the normal things an 8 month old eats!!
The kids really wanted to throw rocks in the stream, so we took a little walk down to it, while the kids collected rocks in their pockets. There was a fun bridge that they threw their rocks off! I love this time of year. The crispness in the air. Joe always says "it feels like football!!"

super cute pics. That was way fun to go up there and I'm glad the bear decided not to have our kiddies for lunch! Also your font is WAY small and I have to zoom it up like three times before I can read it.
I'm so jealous that you have a blog. . .I ACTUALLY have one too (two months now and counting). But it took me an embarassingly loooong time to figure out HOW to name it, not to mention WHAT to name it. . I've been too exhausted to pursue it any further as of yet. However, you are inspiring me with your perfectly adorable family (and Sisi too!) I love ya!
